Author Guidelines

Submission of article implies:

• that it has not been published previously elsewhere;
• that it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else;
• that its publication has been authorised by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities – tacitly or explicitly – at the institute where the work has been carried out.

The publisher will not be held legally responsible should there be any claims for compensation. The authors should acknowledge the funding agency, if any.

• that it meets the accepted standard of containing less than 10 % plagiarism.

Sabita Journal cordially invites original and unpublished works in the following categories:

Research Papers:

We enthusiastically welcome the submission of original and non-plagiarized research papers across various domains of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. Please forward your contributions to editor@sabitajournal.com.

Henceforth, all articles written in Bengali, Hindi and Sanskrit must be accompanied by translated titles, abstracts, and author bios in English. To facilitate indexing, submissions in other language except English without English translations will not be accepted.

Formatting Guidelines for Research Papers:

• Use Font Book Antiqua for full titles, with subtitles (if any), in size 14 (bold) for headings and size 12 for body text. Maintain single-line spacing.
• Include author/authors' names, affiliations, phone numbers, and email addresses.
• Furnish a 200-word abstract and 5 keywords. Follow the MLA 7^th or MLA 8^th edition for proper citations.
• Organize headings, subheadings, and illustrations to eliminate the need for post-formatting.
• Word Limit: 3000-6000 words, inclusive of works cited. (Articles must be at least 4000 words long.)
• Ensure impeccable grammar, syntax, and typographical accuracy. All research papers must be in English or Bengali. Non-English quotes should be accompanied by font files and translations.
• Plagiarism will be vigilantly checked. By submitting, authors affirm the originality of their work and adherence to proper citations.

Submission Guidelines:

• References should adhere to MLA 7^th or MLA 8^th edition guidelines.
• Word Limit: 3000-6000 words (including citations).
• Font: Book Antiqua, size 12.
• Author Bio: Maximum 50 words.
• Abstract: Maximum 200 words.
• Keywords: Maximum 5.
• All submissions undergo a rigorous blind peer-review process. Plagiarism will result in disqualification.
• Acceptance notifications will be dispatched within 90 days following the submission deadline.
• Kindly refer to the email acceptance notification for your submission's status after the deadline.

Book Reviews:

• Book reviews must include author's name, year of publication, price, ISBN, and page count.
• Reviewer details should include name, informative title, affiliation, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
• Font: Times New Roman, heading 14 points (bold), body 12 font, single line spacing.
• Word limit for book reviews: 1000-1500 words.

Submission Process:

• Book Review word limit: 1000-1500 words, including book details like cover page, ISBN, price, author name, publisher name, and year of publication.
• Please submit write-ups without any illustrations or decorations.
• Ensure that author details with contact number and email address are provided.

After creating your profile, you can upload your article and make your submission digitally. It is recommended to send a copy of your submission / article to our editor at editor@sabitajournal.com.
